Shawen Town, belonging to Baiyun District, Guiyang City, Guizhou Province, is located in the north central part of Baiyun District, bordering Penglai village and ASO village of Niuchang Buyi Township in the East, Dula village and Lengshui village of dulabuyi Township in the southeast, Liuzhuang village of Yanshanhong town in the south, Gaoshan village of Yanshan town in the southwest, Gaopo village and Guoyuan village of Maijia town in the west, Qingshan village of Maijia town in the northwest, zazuo town of Xiuwen County in the north and Niujia village in the northeast Huangguan village and Niuchang village of changbuyi nationality township. In 1983, shawen commune was divided into shawen Township and Niuchang Buyi township. In 2002, shawen township was transformed into shawen town. By the end of 2018, the number of registered residence in Sha Wen town was 25628. In 2020, shawen town will have 17 administrative villages under its jurisdiction, with the people's Government stationed in Shasha. In 2018, there were 54 industrial enterprises in shawen Town, including 14 Enterprises above Designated Size and 8 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.
History of construction
Most of the Qing Dynasty belonged to maisili and beishangli of Guizhu county.
From the third year of the Republic of China to June of the thirtieth year (1914-1941), it belonged to Guiyang County. At that time, shashashao Town, mabao Township, Diaobao Township, Jinjia Township, Mengtai Township and Banzhu Township were set up in the present shawen Town, belonging to the eighth district (North District 1) of Guiyang County.
In July 1941, after Guiyang was established as a city, the above-mentioned townships (towns) and the four townships of Huangguan, Hongjin, Wenhua and Penglai, which were then located in today's Niuchang Buyi Township, merged into shawen Township, which is divided into 15 Baojia and 162 Jiajia townships, belonging to Baiyun District of Guizhu County.
In 1952, shawen and Jinjia townships were built, belonging to the Sixth District of Guizhu county (shawen District).
In 1956, it belonged to Baiyun District of Guizhu county.
In February 1958, the whole territory of shawen was assigned to Guiyang City, belonging to Wudang District of Guiyang city.
In September 1958, shawen, Jinjia and mabao were merged into Yuejin commune. In December, Tuanjie, Yuemei and Yuejin communes merged into shawen commune, belonging to Wudang District of Guiyang city.
From December 1959 to June 1962, it belongs to Baiyun town of Guiyang city.
In May 1960, after the establishment of Baiyun commune, it was renamed shawen commune.
In June 1961, shawen commune was divided into shawen commune, Niuchang commune, Maijia commune and Yanshanhong commune.
In July 1962, the municipal system of Baiyun town was abolished, and the jurisdiction was assigned to Wudang district. At the same time, Baiyun Town, a town under district jurisdiction, was established. The original four communes were merged into shawen commune and Yanshanhong commune.
From July 1962 to May 1973, it belongs to Wudang District of Guiyang city.
In June 1973, the organizational system of Baiyun District was restored, and shawen and Yanshanhong 2 commune returned to Baiyun District of Guiyang city.
In 1983, shawen commune was divided into shawen Township and Niuchang Buyi township. In 2002, shawen township was transformed into shawen town.
