Yangchang town
Yangchang Town, belonging to Wudang District, Guiyang City, Guizhou Province, is located in the north of Wudang District, adjacent to Baiyi Township in the East, Xinbao Buyi Township in the south, Xinchang Township in the West and Kaiyang County in the north. The town government is located on Yangchang street, 31 kilometers away from the District government, with a total area of 73.58 square kilometers. As of 2018, the registered residence population of Yang Chang town was 15530. As of October 2019, Yangchang town has jurisdiction over one community and eight administrative villages.
From June to October 1950, the old system of Bao and Jia was abolished, and 19 villages were established. In 1951, 10 new villages were built. In 1961, the management area was abandoned, belonging to Yangchang commune, with 8 production teams. In 1983, the commune was transformed into a township. On December 12, 1988, the township was changed to Yangchang Town, under the jurisdiction of 8 villagers' committees.
In 2011, the total financial income of Yangchang town was 22.2 million yuan, an increase of 15.2% over the previous year.
Historical evolution

In 1983, the commune was transformed into a township.
On December 12, 1988, the township was changed to Yangchang town.

Yangchang town is located in the middle of Guizhou Province, Yunnan Guizhou Plateau, which is dominated by the middle mountain landform. The terrain is high in the southwest and low in the northeast, gradually decreasing from the southwest to the northeast, belonging to the hilly area. The highest business point is located in Fenghuang mountain of Pingba village, with an altitude of 1528 meters; the lowest point is located in the valley east of Huangjia datu of minzhai village, with an altitude of 980 meters.

hydrology
The main rivers in Yangchang town are luma River and Zhonghe river. Originated in the foothills of the southwest of Yangchang Town, Malu river flows through Xinchang Township, then turns back to Kaiyang via Huanglian, and is injected into Qinglong River, with a total length of 12 kilometers. Zhonghe river originates from Baiyi Township, enters Yangchang territory through shanmutang, and is injected into Qinglong River, with a total length of 5 km. It has been proved that there are hot water resources in Jinluo Lake area, and the water temperature is between 45 ℃ and 56 ℃.
