On June 17, 2020, Sichuan Provincial People's Government approved Ganzi Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture to adjust the administrative divisions of some villages and towns in Yajiang County and other 12 counties (cfzm [2020] No. 9): cancel xiede Township and establish Taining town. The administrative area of former xiede township is the administrative area of Taining town, and No. 17, group 2, Jiecun village of Taining Town People's government.

Evolution of organizational system

In 2020, xiede township will be abolished and Taining town will be established. The former administrative region of xiede township will be the administrative region of Taining Town, No. 17, group 2, Jiecun village, people's Government of Taining town.
