Qianjing Town, a town under the jurisdiction of Yuzhou City, Henan Province, is a famous historical and cultural town in Henan Province. It is a tourist town with cultural tourism and characteristic fruit planting.

Qianjing town is located in the northern suburb of Yuzhou City, Henan Province, adjacent to Gucheng town and Wuliang town in the East, Changzhuang town and Huashi town in the west, Zhuge town and Shundian town in the south, and Xinmi City and Xinzheng City of Zhengzhou in the north. It is 12 kilometers away from the city.

Qianjing Town, with an area of 112 square kilometers, is the largest town under the jurisdiction of Yuzhou City, with 23 administrative villages and a population of 33839 (2017).

Historical evolution

In the early years of Hongwu in the Ming Dynasty, Yangzhai county system was abolished and incorporated into Junzhou prefecture (Yangzhai county name, which has been used for more than 1700 years, ended at this point), still governing Mi County and Xinzheng County. In 1570, the fourth year of emperor muzong's reign in the Ming Dynasty, Xinzheng was ruled out from Junzhou, and Junzhou was only led by Mi County.

In 1575, in order to avoid Zhu Yijun's name, Junzhou was changed to Yuzhou. Qianjing town is under the jurisdiction of changzhuangdu and qilidu;

In the early Qing Dynasty, following the Ming system, Yuzhou was still set up, which was under the jurisdiction of Kaifeng Prefecture and led by Mi County. In 1724, Yuzhou was promoted to Zhili Prefecture, leading Xinzheng and Mi County. In 1741, it was returned to Kaifeng. Qianjing town belongs to xizhangli;

On March 1, 1913, the first year of the Republic of China, Yuzhou was changed into Yuxian County, which was subordinate to the East Road of Henan Province. Qianjing town belongs to Dongzhang town;

After 1945, the Communist Party set up Yubei County in the area of paicun in the north of the city, and Qianjing town belonged to Yubei county.

In 1948, Yu county was liberated, and Qianjing town belonged to five districts (Luoji);

Steel people's commune was established in 1958;

In 1961, it was changed to shallow well area;

In 1968, Qianjing commune was established;

In 1984, it was renamed Qianjing township;

On June 25, 1988, the State Council approved the abolition of Yu county and the establishment of Yuzhou City, which is a county-level city directly under the provincial government and listed separately in the plan. Qianjing township is still under the jurisdiction of Yuzhou City.

In 2011, Qianjing township was changed from township to town.

Geomorphology and climate

Qianjing town is mainly mountainous. The climate belongs to the continental warm temperate monsoon type, with distinct climate changes in four seasons, hot summer, cold winter and long frost free period.

economic development

The economy of Qianjing town is developing healthily. The resources of building materials, stone, coal, quartz sand, bauxite and forage are rich. There are many building materials enterprises, and the animal husbandry and tourism are developing rapidly. Focusing on improving agricultural efficiency and increasing farmers' income, Qianjing Township continued to expand the planting area of high-quality grain, with the total grain output reaching 12299 tons, a year-on-year increase of 10%. Vigorously develop characteristic agriculture, highlight traditional Chinese medicine planting and sweet potato "three powder" processing, add 1500 mu of "Erhua" medicinal materials, so that the planting area of traditional Chinese medicine can reach 8600 mu; the planting area of high-quality sweet potato is stable at 17400 mu, and the processing conversion rate can reach more than 80%. We paid close attention to afforestation, completed 15 kilometers of high standard passage greening, converted 250 mu of farmland to forest, built 12000 mu of farmland forest network, rented and contracted 11000 mu of barren hills and ditches, and realized 10000 mu of barren hills greening.

The infrastructure of Qianjing town was further improved. The poverty alleviation fund of 460000 yuan was implemented, three drinking water projects for human and livestock were implemented, four deep-water wells were drilled, 300000 meters of pipe network was completed, and the drinking water difficulty of three villages was solved; 1.7 km of "village to village" road from Dongzhuang to Shutang was built, and 11.8 km of county road foundation widening project from Dongzhuang to Zhangdi BAISHIYAN was completed. Coordinate the higher authorities and raise more than 800000 yuan to build two residential buildings for the Township Central middle school, and build a new Zhangdong primary school, so as to further improve the school running conditions.

Qianjing town has invested 300000 yuan to hire the Institute of geography, Chinese Academy of Sciences to complete the overall planning of XiaoYaoGuan scenic spot. The declaration of the Sixth Batch of key cultural relics protection units in China for the Bacun porcelain kiln site is in progress. The "mysterious symbol" of Juci mountain has aroused great interest and wide attention of many experts, scholars and new media at home and abroad.

Qianjing town uses its rich tourism resources to develop three excellent tourism routes: the historical and cultural tour centered on XiaoYaoGuan, the natural scenery tour centered on Dahongzhai and the folk leisure tour centered on Wei, Wang and fan villages.

scenic spot

XiaoYaoGuan scenic spot, located at the foot of Kongtong mountain in Qianjing town of Yuzhou City, is the place where emperor Xuanyuan visited the ancient philosopher guangchengzi. Xiaoyao temple is a Taoist temple building. It is said that the ancient Xuanyuan Yellow Emperor became an immortal after guangchengzi. It is known as "the first temple in the world". In the early days of the founding of the people's Republic of China, there were still many ancient buildings, and in terms of layout, it was well arranged according to the mountain. In the late Ming Dynasty, Xiaoyao temple was already a large-scale and well-known Taoist activity center, known as "seventy-two temples from upper to lower". Surrounded by green mountains, gurgling streams and beautiful scenery, visitors will feel "pure hearted, pleasant and ethereal". The wonderful combination of natural landscape and cultural landscape is amazing. It has gradually formed a yellow emperor relic tourist area with more than 30 scenic spots and Xiaoyao temple as the center.
