Shahe Town

Shahe Town, Ganzhou City, Jiangxi Province is located in the east of Zhanggong District, Ganzhou City, Jiangxi Province. It plays an important role in the strategy of "moving from south to East" of urban construction in Ganzhou City. There are 9 administrative villages and 109 villager groups in the area, with a total area of 64.5 square kilometers and a permanent resident population of 55048 (2017). The town has 9884 mu of cultivated land, including 9101 mu of paddy field, 783 mu of dry land and forest land The land area is 57600 mu, and the aquaculture area is 505 mu. The town people's government is located in the East District of Ganzhou railway station, only 1 km away from the railway station.

Historical evolution

It is named after the mouth of Shahejie river. Before liberation, it belonged to Lihua Township, Shashi District, Ganxian County; in June 1950, it was divided into Yongxing Township and Xinxing Township, which still belonged to Shashi District; in October 1952, there were huangboling Township, Yongxing Township, Hualin Township and Longcun township; in June 1956, it was withdrawn from the district and merged with the township, which was named Shahe township; in 1957, it was restored to Shashi District. In September 1958, it was the Shahe administrative area of rocket commune, and in October 1959, it belonged to Shashi commune and Ganzhou nanwai commune. In October 1961, Shahe commune was established, which belongs to Shashi District. In June 1963, it belonged to Shashi commune and Shahe commune respectively; in November 1968, it was merged into Shashi commune.

In November 1970, Hualin, Hetou and Luokeng were assigned to Meilin town. In October 1972, Shahe commune was restored, and on January 10, 1978, Ganzhou City was assigned from Ganxian county. It was changed to Shahe Township in April 1984. In 1997, it covers an area of 67.3 square kilometers and has a population of 14000. It governs 10 administrative villages including Hetou, Hualin, Luokeng, Shahe, Wulong, Huanglong, longxia, Liukeng, Longcun and Dongkeng. The township government is located in mayuanling, 6 kilometers away from the urban area. On August 5, 1998, Shahe township was abolished and Shahe Town was established (reply No. 126 of ganmin Zi).

Shahe Town, Ganzhou City, Jiangxi Province is adjacent to Gongjiang River in the East, across the river from Ganxian County; Zhangjiang River in the west, reflecting Shuinan Town, Ganzhou City's new urban area; Ganzhou City's old urban area in the north, is an ideal place for economic development of Ganzhou City; Ganzhou City's commanding peak mountain in the south, with unique ecological environment. In front of Shahe Town lies Kongdong mountain and lies across Ganjiang River. The terrain is like gourd. The terrain inclines from southeast to northwest. The southeast is low mountain area and the northwest is hilly area. Shahe River crisscross the territory, north into the Gongjiang river. The land can be summarized as "five mountains, one water, three fields, one road and Manor". It starts from tongpenling in the East and ends at Wuliting in the west, about 15 kilometers away. From leigongkeng in the south to Hetou in the north, the distance between the north and the south is about 9 km. There are dashipan reservoir in the eastern mountainous area, Huanglong reservoir in the south, and hundreds of towers and weirs, which effectively irrigate the fertile land of Shahe River. Shahe Town has mild climate, abundant rainfall, long summer and short winter, long frost free period and annual average temperature of 19.5 ℃. With an average annual precipitation of 1400-1500mm, the territory has an elegant environment and lush pines and cypresses, which makes people feel relaxed and happy. It has beautiful natural landscape and pleasant climate in four seasons.

The town has 5925 hectares of arable land, including 552.47 hectares of paddy field, 15 hectares of dry land, 3437.26 hectares of forest land and 86 hectares of aquaculture. In 2014, the total sown area of crops in the town was 947.07 hectares, including 519.8 hectares of grain crops, with a total output of 5294 tons; 545.13 hectares of vegetables, with a total output of 15062 tons; 10504 live pigs and 3950 poultry were sold; and 620 tons of aquatic products were produced, an increase of 3.3% compared with the previous year.

The national highway linking Shawo county to the northwest of Jiangxi Province provides an effective link for the development of industry. The Shahe River is connected with the whole country; all villages in the town are connected with cement roads, and many roads in the urban area extend to the territory, with convenient land and water and extending in all directions. Shahe Town has the unique conditions to build the "back garden" of Ganzhou City. Ganlong Park, located in Wulong Village, is the largest park in Ganzhou, covering an area of 1600 mu with a total investment of 120 million yuan. It will be built into a comprehensive park integrating entertainment and leisure, tourism, vacation, science popularization, history education and other functions. On January 30, 2004, Ganzhou municipal Party committee made it clear at the Eighth Plenary (enlarged) meeting of the first session of the municipal Party committee that "if Ganzhou wants to become a regional modern central city, it must attach great importance to training and strengthening the pillar industries of the city. From the perspective of central urban areas, we should focus on technology intensive and capital intensive industries, and concentrate on strengthening and expanding the Golden Development Zone and Shahe Industrial Park. " As a result, Shahe Town has entered another high-speed development track.

On August 29, 2014, the Discipline Inspection Commission of Shahe Town, Zhanggong District, Ganzhou City, Jiangxi Province, in the form of a red headed document, issued a circular criticizing the internal management work of the town canteen, such as "no meat in the dishes", which attracted the attention of netizens.
