Ribu Township
Japanese, Jiarong Tibetan means "the official village on the hillside", because the official village is located on the ridge of Japanese mountain. Ribu township is 2720 meters above sea level, 128 kilometers away from the urban area of markang City, covering an area of 958.68 square kilometers. Rich in various resources, it contains gold, lead and a large number of silicon ores, including pilose antler, musk, snow lotus, Fritillaria, Cordyceps, notopterygium, rhubarb, Ganoderma lucidum and Auricularia, fern moss, Tricholoma matsutake and other valuable wild medicinal materials and fungi, black bear, deer, Qingyang, rock sheep, Swertia, muntjac, soft shelled turtle, cold water fish and other state-level protected animals all over the mountains. The township is rich in tourism resources. The beautiful jiudaohai, the magical Yala mountain, the unique balang Temple Lama tower, the changing scenery of Shejiang gorge, the vast Grass Mountain and the simple folk customs make tourists forget to return.
