Hujian town
Hujian town belongs to Anyue County, Ziyang City, Sichuan Province. It is located in the south of Anyue County, bordering Lijia town in the East, Heping Township in the south, Yongfu Township in Neijiang City in the southwest, Tianlin town in the west, Tianbao Township in the northwest, Xinglong Town in the north and Xiehe Township in the northeast. The maximum distance from east to west is 12.2 km, and the maximum distance from north to south is 7.8 km, with a total area of 49.04 square kilometers.
In Hujian Town, there are Qianyang palace and Zitong temple, county-level cultural relics built in Qing Dynasty. In Qianyang Hougong garden, there are 13 ancient cypresses cultivated in Qianlong period, with a history of more than 200 years.
As of June 2020, Hujian town has one community and nine administrative villages. By the end of 2018, the population of the registered residence in the town was 27282. Historical evolution
Originally named Guanyin Township, it was renamed Hujian Township after the founding of the people's Republic of China.
