Xingma town is located in the southeast of Nanjiang County, Sichuan Province, at 106 ° 59 ′ E and 32 ° 14 ′ n. In March 2005, the township division was adjusted, and the original wachi township was integrated into Xingma township. It is connected with Banqiao Township in Tongjiang in the East, lilongtan in Dahe Town in the south, jinyinyan in Guanmen town in the West and chenjiaping in Guanlu town in the north. It covers an area of 115.8 square kilometers, including 105000 mu of forest and 14000 mu of cultivated land.

In 2018, the people's Government of Sichuan Province agreed to abolish Xingma Township and establish Xingma town.
