Liuhe Town
Liuhe Town, subordinate to Yumen City, Jiuquan, Gansu Province, is located in the northwest of Yumen City, adjacent to huangzhawan Township in the East, Gobi desert in the south, Qilian snow mountain in the distance, and Sandaogou town in Guazhou County in the northwest. The administrative area is 396.15 square kilometers.
By the end of 2018, the number of registered residence in Liuhe Town was 13336. As of June 2020, Liuhe Town has five administrative villages.

History of construction
In Ming Dynasty, it was liugoudi.
During the Qing Dynasty, he was stationed in eight banners.
In 1915, LIUQU district was established.
In 1929, it was divided into the third district (now Liuhe Township).
In 1943, Liuhe Township was established.
In February 1949, Liuhe District was set up, with jurisdiction over liangzigou, guanzhuangzi, Erdaogou, hudunqi, KenChang and Mushutan.
In 1955, the district was withdrawn and the township was merged, and four townships, guanzhuangzi Daogou, Hongqi and Mushutan, were set up.
In 1958, Hongqi township was merged into Erdaogou Township, and Yuejin commune was established. In November of the same year, it belonged to Liuhe management area of Yumen commune.
In 1961, it was changed into Liuhe commune.
In 1966, Liuhe commune was changed into Dongfanghong commune.
In March 1968, Dongfanghong commune was renamed Liuhe commune.
In March 1983, the commune was transformed into a township.
In May 2015, the Department of civil affairs of Gansu Province officially approved the change of Liuhe Township from township to town.
In May 2016, the township was officially changed from township to town.

In 1961, Liuhe Town was under the jurisdiction of seven production teams, namely guanzhuangzi, Lijiagou, Xujiagou, Erdaogou, Hongqi, baoensi and Mushutan.
In 1966, Lijiagou and baoensi of Liuhe Town merged into Dongfeng production brigade.
In March 1983, Liuhe Town governed six villagers' committees, namely guanzhuangzi, Dongfeng, Erdaogou, Hongqi, Xujiagou and Mushutan.
In 2004, 9 villager groups of jiangguanzhuangzi village in Liuhe Town were merged with the Township Forest Farm to form guanzhuangzi village, and Xujiagou village was merged into Erdaogou village.
By the end of 2011, Liuhe Town had five administrative villages: Erdaogou, guanzhuangzi, Dongfeng, Hongqi and Mushutan, and 26 villager groups.
