DAMAOPING town is subordinate to Bazhou District of Bazhong City, with a central location of 106 ° 81 ′ 72 ″ N and 31 ° 80 ′ 04 ″ e. it is adjacent to Baicheng in the north, Liangyong in the south, Ganquan in the East and Bahe in the West. Evolution of organizational system
There was no market in DAMAOPING, and the market flourished with the relocation of the township government. In the Republic of China, it belonged to Sanjiang township. During the Soviet period, there were Township Soviets in tuiya and Guanyintang, belonging to Sanjiang District, and township Soviets in Baiyun Mountain, belonging to Xingwen district. In the spring of 1952, Baiyun township was built (named after Baiyun Mountain). In January 1956, the township was withdrawn and merged into Sanjiang and Shimiao.
