Lianjiang township is located in the southeast edge of Mingshan County, adjacent to Pujiang County of Chengdu City. It has jurisdiction over 9 administrative villages (Hejiang, tudun, Liangshui, sundao, ziluo, Wan'an, Xuyuan, Jiulong village, Ouhua) and 48 agricultural cooperatives. There are lianjiang Central Primary School, Lianjiang health center, Lianjiang township government office building, and so on. The traffic is connected with Chengjia town of Pujiang County. There is Chengya expressway! Direct to Chengdu, convenient and fast! It is one of the ideal tea towns for investment and development!

The township has an area of 26.16 square kilometers and 9072 people (2017). The existing cultivated land is 10722.5 mu, including 8576 mu of farmland and 1966.5 mu of land. Lianjiang township is rich in natural products. Grain production is mainly grain, wheat and rapeseed. Tea is the leading economic crop. Pig breeding is the focus of animal husbandry. In 2001, Lianjiang Township produced 6667 tons of grain, 4000 mu of tea and 15000 pigs. Lianjiang Township Party committee and government attach great importance to the development of enterprises. At the end of 2000, with the efforts of both sides, Mingshan Tianyu distillery was established. The factory is the largest and most profitable enterprise in Lianjiang township. The establishment of the enterprise has driven the development of other small enterprises. In 2013, the GDP was 155.25 million yuan, the total investment in fixed assets was 81 million yuan, the total industrial output value was 161.59 million yuan, and the per capita net income of farmers was 9483 yuan.
