Guange town
Guange Town, Qianfeng District, Guang'an City, Sichuan Province is located in the northeast of Qianfeng District, adjacent to Longtan and Guanghui townships in the East, Xiaojing Township in the south, Guangxing town in the north and Baishi town across the river (Qujiang River) in the West. The town governs 21 villages and 1 neighborhood committee. The total population is 22433 (2017). It covers an area of 32.38 square kilometers.
On November 30, 2019, Sichuan Provincial People's Government approved the adjustment of administrative divisions of some towns and townships in Guang'an City (cfzm [2019] No. 16): Xiaojing township was abolished, and the administrative areas of Wenjiang village, Xiaoliang village, Lianhua village, Daliang village, Shenglong village, Daoshi village and Zhushi Village of Xiaojing Township were put under the jurisdiction of Guange Town, and the people's Government of Guange town was stationed at No. 1, Funan road.
Evolution of organizational system
Guanyin temple was built in Ming Dynasty, which is known as "Longmen Fengge". Guange township was established in 1949, changed into a commune in 1958, and established a town in 1984. Tuanbao township was incorporated in 1992. In 2019, Wenjiang village, Xiaoliang village, Lianhua village, Daliang village, Shenglong village, Daoshi village and Zhushi village of Xiaojing township will be merged.
General situation
In the town, there are 12 collective and private enterprises, 282 self-employed industrial and commercial households, and construction materials, transportation and business services are beginning to take shape. Every market day, the floating population of the market town reaches 40000 person times, the daily transaction volume of the market town reaches more than 600000 yuan, and the total economic income of the market town reaches 8 billion yuan. The town has 23797 mu of arable land, including 17950 mu of farmland and 5847 mu of soil. It mainly produces rice, corn, sweet potato, wheat, Hu Dou and other crops. The main cash crops are fruits, oils, medicinal materials, vegetables and sugarcane, and the main sidelines are poultry, livestock, sericulture and aquatic products, especially high-quality rice, corn, fruits and vegetables. Rich in human resources and land resources, it has a strong development potential.
The infrastructure construction of the whole town has taken shape. The newly built east, West and South streets, 510 meters long and 24 meters wide, the farmer's market covering an area of 5 mu and the comprehensive market covering an area of 10 mu have laid the foundation for the development of the secondary and tertiary industries of Guange. The tap water station can supply 1000 tons of water per day. There are 12 transformers in the town, with a capacity of 800 kVA. The installed capacity of the program-controlled telephone is 5000. All of them have been installed. Radio and television are available to every village, and closed-circuit television is available to 5600 households. All villages and communities in the town are connected by roads, forming a network of village and community roads. The canal river water transportation and land transportation are connected, and the transportation is convenient. It is the most ideal choice for business enterprises.
