NongWang Township

NongWang town is located 22 kilometers east of Renshou County, Meishan City, Sichuan Province. Its geographical coordinates are 104 degrees 17 minutes east longitude and 29 degrees 55 minutes north latitude. It is connected with Fujia Town, Yulong Town, Banqiao Town, Hekou Town, Lujia Town, Baofei Town, otang Town, Shizui town and other towns, belonging to shallow hilly area. The territory belongs to subtropical monsoon humid climate zone, with obvious seasonal differentiation, and the annual rainfall is large and mainly in summer. In March 2017, according to the spirit of Sichuan Provincial People's government's reply on approving Dongpo District and Renshou County of Meishan City to adjust the administrative divisions of some towns and townships (Chuanfu civil affairs No. 4), Yuantong Township, Liren Township and NongWang township of Renshou County were set up as towns.

In December 2019, the administrative divisions of some townships in Renshou County of Meishan were adjusted. NongWang town was abolished and otang town was established. The administrative regions of the former NongWang Town, the former Shizui Township and the former otang Township were taken as the administrative regions of otang town. NongWang township is located 24 kilometers to the east of Renshou County. The geographical coordinates of sujiatan on Renshun road are 104 degrees 17 minutes east longitude and 29 degrees 55 minutes north latitude. Baiba village is located in the west of NongWang Township and the south of Fujia town. It is a combination of Shuizhu village and baiba village. It borders Qixin village and Huangao village in the East, Zitong village of otang Township in the west, Yuquan village in the south, Shizui Township and Fujia town in the north. Fuwang Road, Fuou road and Chuanxin road run through the whole village.
