Yishan township is located in the south of Jialing District, Nanchong City, 25 kilometers away from the district government. It was originally named shendianya. Nanyang temple was built in the late Chongzhen period of Ming Dynasty. There are Guanyin hall, Raytheon hall and Foye hall in the temple, so it is called shendianya.
