Gongyang Township
Gongyang township is a township under the jurisdiction of Wencheng County, Wenzhou City, Zhejiang Province. It is located in the south of gakou, Pinghe in the East, Xiaokeng in Pingyang in the south, Zhoushan in the West and gakou in the north, covering an area of 20 square kilometers (2017). It has 13 administrative villages, including Gongyang, Lubao, shuiduizhai, shangyuetou, zhushankeng, tuojian, Jinling, Longwan, shale, zhushanlong, yanxiashan, baishikeng and Maoyuan, with 90 villager groups, They live in 46 natural villages.

Historical evolution
In the Ming and Qing Dynasties, it was the 53rd capital of Jiayu township. In the 20th year of the Republic of China, three townships, gongnan, Gongbei and Wuge, were built. In the 24th year of the Republic of China, three townships were merged into Gongyang township. In the 35th year of the Republic of China, it was merged with shuangguiquan into Guiyang township. When the county was established, it was still divided into two townships, belonging to Dagao district. In 1950, Yangfeng township was set up in yanggen and other places. In 1952, Gongyang was divided into Gongyang Township and Yangdong Township, which belonged to Yikou district. Yangdong was incorporated into Gongyang Township in 1956, and changed into Gongyang administrative area in 1958. Gongyang people's commune was established in 1961. Gongyang township was restored in 1984. It is located in Gongyang village, 13.3km away from the county seat.
In 2011, Gongyang township was abolished and merged into Yikou Town, and Gongyang community was established, with Gongyang, shangyuetou, shuiduizhai, baishikeng, tuojian, Jinling and Lubao administrative villages under its jurisdiction.
In 2016, according to the plan approved by the people's Government of Zhejiang Province for the adjustment of some administrative divisions of Wencheng County, Wencheng County was adjusted from "9 towns and 1 township" to "12 towns and 5 townships", Gongyang township was restored, and the township was located in Gongyang village.

Gongyang Street: beside the small pit, a tributary of Gongyang River, it is also called "pangkeng". Shangyuetou administrative village
Shangyuetou administrative village is located in the south of Gongyang, backed by Zihua mountain. It is composed of four natural villages: shangyuetou, shangtanglong, pangan santanwu and yantouting.
