Mochi town

Mochi town is located in the southwest of Jingyan County, Sichuan Province, adjacent to Leshan, with an altitude of 380 meters. It is 15 kilometers away from Leshan Dafo, covering an area of 17.32 square kilometers. The main transportation line 305 runs through the whole town for 3 kilometers. There is a large amount of selenium mineral resources underground for mining. The Mochi river flows through the market town, with clear bottom and abundant water resources. In 2002, it was determined by the provincial Party committee as the "pilot town for the construction of small market towns in Sichuan Province". It is rich in agricultural resources and has obvious geographical advantages for industrial development . By the end of 2003, the town had 4 administrative villages, 69 villager groups and 1 community neighborhood committee, with a total population of 6993 (2017) and a cultivated area of 10900 mu.

Industrial economy

The main agricultural crops in the town are rice, corn, wheat and potato. With the adjustment of agricultural industrial structure, the moderate scale standardized green rabbit breeding has formed a scale in 2006. More than 10000 excellent breeding rabbits were bred in 2006, and more than 500000 pollution-free meat rabbits were sold in 2006.
