Lingjia town
Lingjia Town, a town under the jurisdiction of Shizhong District, Neijiang City, Sichuan Province, is a provincial pilot town for small town construction, and is now actively striving for the national pilot town for small towns. With an area of 48.86 square kilometers and a population of 37411 (2017), it is located between Neijiang and Zigong, and has been an important material distribution center since ancient times. Located in neile highway, Neiyi Expressway and Neikun Railway, the traffic is very convenient. History of construction
During the Tongzhi period of the Qing Dynasty, lingjiachang was built in Neijiang county. It was named because it was built in Yedi, the surname Ling. In 1913, lingjiachang was changed to lingjiachang. When Neijiang county was set up in 1934, Ling's hometown was subordinate to four districts (in Maoshi town). In 1937, Ling's hometown was divided into Zhongxing Township and Yong'an township. In 1947, Ling's hometown was changed to three districts (in renmao town). In March 1951, in order to adapt to the land reform, Ling's hometown was divided into four townships: Lingdong, Lingnan, Lingxi and Lingbei, which were subordinate to ten districts (located in Baima town). In 1953, Lingnan and Lingxi townships were united townships, Lingdong and Lingbei townships were Qunhe townships, lingjiachang block was located in Lingjia Town, Zhonglian and Zhonghe townships were merged into Zhongxing Township, and they were all subordinate to one district. At the end of 1955, the first district was changed into Lingjia District, and Zhongxing township was renamed fangbei township. In the autumn of 1958, in the movement of people's communization, Lingjia town and Lianhe Township merged to establish the United People's commune. Qunhe township was changed into May 1st people's commune, fangbei township was changed into fangbei people's commune. After the "Cultural Revolution" began in 1966, the United commune was renamed Hongxing commune, and fangbei commune was renamed Xingwu commune.
In December 1970, Hongxing commune was renamed United commune, Xingwu commune was renamed fangbei commune. In March 1981, the United commune was renamed Lingjia commune. In March 1984, Lingjia commune was changed into Lingjia Township, fangbei commune into fangbei Township, and Wuyi commune into Wuyi township. In August 1985, Lingjia Township and Wuyi Township were abolished and Lingjia town was merged. In November 1989, Lingjia District of Neijiang county was changed into Lingjia Office of Dongxing District, and Lingjia town and fangbei Township were subordinate to Lingjia office. In August 1992, fangbei township was abolished and merged into Lingjia Town, which is directly under Dongxing District. In October 1995, Lingjia town of Dongxing District was put under the jurisdiction of Shizhong District and renamed Lingjia town of Shizhong District of Neijiang City. In 2004, Lingjia town governs 21 villages, 179 groups (communities), including hejiapo, qinggangpo, niukouqiao, shigu, Gulou, xiaowanzi, Liujiazui, panjiaba, panlongsi, paifangba, Gaodong, wujichong, jiufanggou, fangbei, Huangjin, Yanwan, Jianshan, baling, zhuanfang, Huahong and Yinhe, and 1 community and 5 resident groups in Lingjia.
In December 2019, Sichuan Provincial People's Government approved to cancel Fulong town and put its administrative area under the jurisdiction of Lingjia Town, which is stationed at No.1 Qilong road.

Lingjia town is located in the southwest of Shizhong District, 23 kilometers away from Neijiang City, adjacent to Yong'an town and Fulong Township in the East, Sanduozhai town in Da'an District of Zigong City in the south, Donglian town in Weiyuan County in the West and Chaoyang town in the north, covering an area of 48.86 square kilometers. Lingjia town has convenient transportation and rich water resources. Neikun Railway, Neiyi Expressway and 206 provincial road pass through the territory. Lingjia town is 25 kilometers away from Neijiang City and 22 kilometers away from Zigong City in the south. Neile highway crosses the town. Neiyi highway passes through the west of the town, and Neikun Railway extends south from the east of the town. The town is the central town from Neijiang to Zigong. It is connected with Fulong Township in the East, Sanduozhai town in Zigong City in the south, Jinghe town in Weiyuan County in the West and Yong'an town in the north.
