Kumbashi Township
KMU Bashi Township, belonging to Akesu city of Akesu, the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, is located in the southwest of Akesu. It is located in the East with the town of bashetman and karata town. It connects to the Awati County in the South and West, and joins in the north port in 2018. The area is 122.13 square kilometers in 2018 and the population is at the registered residence.
In the Qing Dynasty, hunbashi huizhuang was set up in Zhili Prefecture of Wensu. In 1948 (the 37th year of the Republic of China), hunbashi Township under the jurisdiction of eight Bao. In May 1960, the commune of topluk was abolished and the original administrative region was merged into the commune of hunbashi. In 1978, the name of hunbashi commune was restored. In 1983, after Aksu county was set up as a city, hunbashi township was established in 1984. In 1989, it was renamed kumbashi township. As of October 2019, it has jurisdiction over 14 administrative villages.

Historical evolution
In the Qing Dynasty, hunbashi huizhuang was set up in Zhili Prefecture of Wensu.
In 1902, hunbashi huizhuang was under the jurisdiction of Wensu Prefecture.
From 1913 (the second year of the Republic of China) to 1933 (the 22nd year of the Republic of China), it was hunbashi Township in three districts under the jurisdiction of Aksu county.
In 1948 (the 37th year of the Republic of China), hunbashi Township under the jurisdiction of eight Bao.
In 1950, hunbashi was divided into three districts, with jurisdiction over six townships.
In August 1953, the administrative division was adjusted, and the three districts were changed into five districts, with jurisdiction over six townships, including hunbashi, bashbage, kalnas, taharqi, alemaili, sulegayi, etc.
In May 1959, hunbashi heroic commune was established in five districts.
In May 1960, the commune of topluk was abolished and the original administrative region was merged into the commune of hunbashi.
In May 1962, topluk separated and established two communes, namely, hunbashi commune and topluk commune. Hunbashi commune has 14 production teams, 91 production teams and 2 directly subordinate teams.
In 1969, the commune management committee was changed into a revolutionary committee.
In 1971, it was renamed Hongwei commune.
In 1978, the name of hunbashi commune was restored.
In 1983, after Aksu county was set up as a city, hunbashi township was established in 1984.
In 1989, it was renamed kumbashi township.

At the end of 2011, it has jurisdiction over 14 administrative villages, including bagwan, bashbage, palaiqi, akeairik, topak arel, yukakkerinas, sollegyi, towan kerinas, kuoshairik, yukakyutqi, towan keryutqi, tagaerqi, ayakebagqi and aremaili; 91 villager groups, including walnut farm and red flag farm.
As of October 2019, it has jurisdiction over 14 administrative villages. The people's government is stationed in bagwan village.
