Sanfeng town is under the jurisdiction of Pengxi County, Suining City, Sichuan Province. At present, there are 47675 people (2019). The town is located in sanfengchang, 55km away from the county seat and 26km away from Chuanshan District of Suining City. The town covers an area of 91.37 square kilometers.
On August 31, 2019, Sichuan Provincial People's Government approved Suining City to adjust the administrative divisions of some townships: Jinlong Township was canceled and its administrative region was put under the jurisdiction of Sanfeng Town, and the people's Government of Sanfeng town was stationed at No. 100, Jiaotong street.
Historical evolution
In 1893, jifengchang was set up in Guangxu of Qing Dynasty. It was named after its three Phoenix shaped hillsides.
