Jieshipu town
Jieshipu Town, belonging to Jingning County, Pingliang City, Gansu Province, is located in the northwest of Jingning County. It is adjacent to Bali Town in the East, Hongsi and Xixiang Township in the south, Yangji of Huining County in the west, and Yuanan and Lingzhi Township in the north. It is 29 kilometers away from Jingning County. The total administrative area is 158 square kilometers. By the end of 2018, the number of registered residence households was 26722.
Jieshipu town is named after the town government's residence in jieshipu village. After the first year of the Republic of China (1912), it belonged to jieshipu township. In August 1949, the fourth district was set up. In December 1956, it was renamed high boundary area. In September 1958, Gaojie commune was established. In November 1983, it was changed to Gaojie township. In May 1986, Gaojie town was built. In March 1997, it was renamed jieshipu town. In December 2003, Qili township was incorporated into the city. As of June 2020, jieshipu town has jurisdiction over 22 administrative villages.
At the end of 2011, the per capita net income of farmers in jieshipu town was 2396 yuan. In 2018, jieshipu town had two industrial enterprises.

The main natural disasters in jieshipu town are hail, drought, frost and so on. The most serious hail disaster occurred on August 230, 2011, with a hail time of about 26 minutes, involving seven villages in Jihong, Xichuan, Qili, guanwan, Dahe, Wangzhuang and jinggou, with an area of 11100 mu. The frost disaster occurred on May 4, 2004, affected 16595 Mu crops of 1170 households in 25 villages, reduced grain production by 1.26 million kg, and caused direct economic loss of 6.45 million yuan.
