BaoFan town

BaoFan Town, located 15 kilometers west of Pengxi County, Suining City, Sichuan Province, is adjacent to Mingfeng town in the East, Dashi town in the south, Huishui town and Mingyue Town in the west, and Chicheng town in the north. Evolution of organizational system

Huilongchang was set up in Qing Dynasty and huilongxiang was set up in 1951. In 1981, due to the existence of BaoFan temple, it was renamed BaoFan Township, belonging to Dashi district. In September 1992, Longdong township was incorporated. In October 1995, the township was relocated from huilongchang to bolinpo and rebuilt into a town. BaoFan Temple

BaoFan temple is located in BaoFan village, BaoFan Town, Pengxi County, Suining City, Sichuan Province. Along the Chengnan Expressway to the entrance of Pengxi, along a cement road, five kilometers further, through huilongchang, the ancient town, and past the hometown of Cheng Mengzong, the "twenty four filial piety", you can see an ancient Sensen temple, which is located between the "solid peaks and the wrong trees". This is the dibaofan temple where the "immortal painting" is located. Here is the "scenery crown" and "the shape of Lotus" according to the Ming stele According to the records of the construction of BaoFan temple, the reason why the temple was built here is that the place is "secluded" and can be "hidden and repaired".

BaoFan temple, formerly known as "Luohan Temple", was built in 1064, the first year of Zhiping in the Northern Song Dynasty, belonging to the "Zen" and "pure land" schools of Buddhism. The name of the temple is Zhao shuchifeng, Emperor Yingzong of Song Dynasty, which means "the saint of Buddha, the treasure of Brahma", and was destroyed by the disaster of war. It was not until the reign of emperor Dingsi of the Ming Dynasty to the reign of bingxu of Chenghua (1466) that the monks Haizhou and Qingcheng accepted the achievements and led their disciples to build temples and revive Buddhism on the basis of the original Luohan temple. Except for the Sutra tower, diamond hall and Buddha statue, the rest of the buildings are well preserved, with an area of nearly 3000 square meters and a designated protection area of 14000 square meters. The three character gilded plaque "BaoFan Temple" at the gate of the mountain was written by the contemporary calligrapher Mr. Sha Menghai, and the plaque "the wizard of painting" was inscribed by the contemporary calligrapher and painter Tan Jiancheng. The remaining ten plaques and couplets in the temple are mostly the handwriting of the "hometown of calligraphy".
