Xiaxinxiang
Xiaxinxiang, formerly known as "xiaxinqiao", is located in the southwest of Santai County, Mianyang City, Sichuan Province. Its geographical coordinates are 30 ° 59 ′ N and 104 ° 57 ′ e, 16 km away from the county seat. In the late Qing Dynasty and the early Republic of China, it was under the jurisdiction of Nu Tu Township, Nan Lu, Santai County. In 1785, Chang town was established and named Yongxing Chang. In the 24th year of the Republic of China, it was the joint insurance of xiaxinqiao. Xiaxinxiang was established in 1940 and merged into Gujing town as an office in 1992.
In December 2019, with the approval of the people's Government of Sichuan Province, Xiaxin township of Santai County was abolished and its administrative area was put under the jurisdiction of Gujing Town, where the people's government was stationed at No.1 Wanfu street.

Xiaxin township is located in the southwest of Santai County, 30 ° 58 ′ 01 ″ - 31 ° 01 ′ 20 ″ n, 104 ° 59 ′ 37 ″ - 105 ° 02 ′ 58 ″ e, 16 km away from the county. It borders Yulin town in the East, Tailin office in Luban town in the South and Xinmiao office in Gujing town in the northwest. The administrative area is 19.49 square kilometers. It is located in a shallow hill. Yongzhen River crosses five administrative villages in the township. In 2017, the town covers an area of 1.1 square kilometers, with 7 administrative villages and 1 town residents committee under the jurisdiction of the township. Pig, bamboo weaving and labor export are the pillar industries of the township. The scale of economic crops such as oil, cocoon and fruit trees has gradually expanded; radio and television have been connected to villages, communities and households, and the infrastructure such as communication, posts and telecommunications, tap water and natural gas are complete. The town covers an area of 0.98 square kilometers. By the end of 2001, the total population was 11589, 3287 households. The cultivated land area is 8654 mu, with 0.79 mu per capita. There is one main river. The vegetation area is 4634 mu, and the forest coverage rate is 60%. it belongs to subtropical monsoon humid climate zone, with mild climate, abundant rainfall, sufficient light, four distinct seasons, annual average temperature of 16.7 ℃, and annual average frost free period of 287 days. The annual average precipitation is 875.2 mm and the annual average sunshine is 13914 hours. The water conservancy conditions are superior. The main and branch canals of Luban reservoir control the irrigation of the whole area, and there are also ponds.
History of construction
During the reign of Jiaqing in the Qing Dynasty, a stone bridge was built on the mung bean River in Jinchang town. Because of the same name as another new bridge (shangxinqiao, now shangxinxiang) 20 km upstream of Kaijiang River, it is named "xiaxinqiao" according to its upper and lower position. in the late Qing Dynasty and the early Republic of China, Santai County set up 4 road 28 Township, xiaxinqiao was under the jurisdiction of Nan Lu Nu Tu township (zhuxinmiao temple, xinmiaochang town). In the 9th year of the Republic of China, there were many wars in Sichuan Province. All localities strengthened the organization of League training and set up League training offices. Xiaxinqiao belongs to the rural group practice (in Xinmiao Temple). in the 14th year of the Republic of China, xiaxinqiao Xingchang was named "yongxingchang". That year, the League training was changed to League A, and a League A office was set up. Nutu Township set up Xinmiao temple and duanshiqiao (today's DuanShi township) two regimental offices. In the 19th year of the Republic of China, xiaxinqiao was added as tuanjia office. in the 24th year of the Republic of China, the new joint insurance was set up in the group A of xiaxinqiao. In the 29th year of the Republic of China, the "new county system" was carried out, and the new joint insurance system was changed into the new township. In 1951, the land reform was completed and the democratic construction of government was carried out. Xiaxinxiang and xiaxinqiao were still set up. From Xiaxin Township, Yulin township was set up and stationed in Sanjiao temple. in 1958, during the period of people's communization, it was changed into the new people's commune. In March 1984, the commune system was abolished and changed to Xiaxin Township, which belongs to Gujing district. in September 1992, the district was withdrawn and the township was built. Xiaxin township was merged into Gujing town as the office. In October 1995, Xiaxin was designated as Xiaxin township. in December 2019, Xiaxin township was merged into Gujing town.
