Jingu town
Jingu town is a town level administrative unit set up in Santai County of Mianyang City by withdrawing villages and establishing towns. In January 2018, with the approval of Sichuan Provincial People's government, Santai County abolished Jingu Township and established Jingu Town, with the former administrative region of Jingu township as the administrative region of Jingu town. It is located in the north east of Santai County, 33 kilometers away from the county. At the end of the Qing Dynasty and the beginning of the Republic of China, it was under the jurisdiction of JiaoMu township (in Shi'an Chang). In 1856, Xingchang was named "Xinglong Chang", which is commonly known as Wuguiqiao. It was originally named Xinglong commune. In October 1981, Jingu temple was changed into Jingu commune. In March 1984, it was changed into Jingu township. In September 1992, it was incorporated into Shi'an town as Jingu office. In October 1995, it was designated as Jingu township.

In September 1992, when the district was withdrawn and the township was built, it was incorporated into Shi'an town as the Jingu office. In October 1995, it was set up as Jingu township. In 2017, Santai County government abolished Jingu Township and established Jingu Town, with the former administrative region of Jingu township as the administrative region of Jingu town. in December 2019, with the approval of Mianyang Municipal People's government, Jingu town was abolished and its administrative area was put under the jurisdiction of Shi'an Town, which is located at No. 47 pedestrian street.

In 2015, 12 administrative villages, 1 town neighborhood committee and 93 villager groups, including Mopan village, Pipa village, Gonghe village, Baige village, Jingu village, Xinsheng village, Dongbao village, Damiao village, Qingjiang village, Qingcheng village, Changping village and Xiaoqiao village, were under the jurisdiction of Jingu township.

It is located in the northeast of Santai County, adjacent to Sanyuan town in the East, Fushun town in the south, Shian town in the West and Zhongxiao Township in the north. The area is dominated by shallow hills. The township covers an area of 43.51 square kilometers. There are 904 hectares of land, 635 hectares of arable land, 1.1 mu of land per capita. There are three main rivers, Qingjiang River is the largest, with a total length of 4.5 km. The vegetation area is 33046 hectares, the forest area is 19750 hectares, and the forest coverage rate is 34.8%. There are 1 electric irrigation station and 6 reservoirs.
