Yunfeng Town, Youxian District, Mianyang City, Sichuan Province is located in the northern area of Youxian district. It is a shallow hilly area, covering an area of 29 square kilometers. It borders Dongxing, Dayan and other towns and townships in Jiangyou City in the north, and Zhongxing, Donglin, Xinqiao, Jiezi and other towns and townships in Youxian District in the south. The total cultivated land area is 14759 mu. The main agricultural products are rice, corn, rape, pig and silkworm. The total population of the town is 6118 (2017). It has jurisdiction over 8 administrative villages, 1 community and 74 villager groups. 26 kilometers away from Mianyang City, there are Anzi Road, central ring road and Yunxin road. The Jiangmian branch canal, Xianwei branch canal, Yunzhong, yunxindou canal and large-scale Jinshan irrigation station provide the necessary water guarantee for industrial and agricultural production. Shengdeng mountain and Chaqi mountain are famous in the area.

In December 2019, Jiezi town and Yunfeng town will be abolished and their administrative areas will be put under the jurisdiction of Xinqiao Town. The people's Government of Xinqiao Town will be stationed at No. 2, east section of Hongqiao Road.

The origin of history

Yunfeng town is named after Yunfeng farm, the former residence. Yunfeng farm was built in 1907, because the nearby mountains are like big birds flying into the clouds. The mountain is called Yunfeng mountain, and the market is called Yunfeng farm. Before liberation, it was under the jurisdiction of Beishang District 5 of Mianyang county. Yunfeng township was established in 1941, and Yunfeng commune was changed in 1958. Because the town was located on the edge of the commune, it was inconvenient to lead the production of the whole commune, so the residence of the commune was moved from Yunfeng town to dianshiyazi in 1972. In 1983, the township was restored to Zhongxing district. In 1992, the district was removed and the town was merged into Xinqiao Town. In 1995, it was designated as Yunfeng township. In 2015, Yunfeng town was established.

Youxian District People's Government: Youxian district has received the request for instructions on the withdrawal of seven townships including Taiping Township to build towns (mianyoufu [2014] No. 76). According to the reply of Sichuan Provincial People's Government on Approving the adjustment of some township administrative divisions in Youxian district and Jiangyou City of Mianyang City (cfzm [2015] No. 13), we agree to adjust some township administrative divisions in Youxian district. The reply is as follows: we agree to cancel Yunfeng Township and establish Yunfeng Town, take the administrative division of Yunfeng township as the administrative region of Yunfeng Town, and the people's Government of Yunfeng town is stationed in Xinzheng 2 St.

In December 2019, Jiezi town and Yunfeng town of Mianyang City were abolished, and their administrative areas were put under the jurisdiction of Xinqiao Town. The people's Government of Xinqiao Town was stationed at No. 2, east section of Hongqiao Road.
