Wujing town
Wujing town belongs to Fufeng County, Baoji City, Shaanxi Province. Located in the southwest of Fufeng County, it is adjacent to Duanjia town in the East, jiangzhang town in the southeast, Changxing town in Mei County in the south, Zaolin town in Qishan County in the West and Chengguan town in the north. The maximum distance from east to west is 15 kilometers, and the maximum distance from north to south is 5 kilometers, with a total area of 57.25 square kilometers.
Wujing town is one of the eight ancient towns in Fufeng County. It was named after Zhang Zai, a neo Confucianist, who gave lectures in Xianshan temple during the Chunhua period of the Northern Song Dynasty and advocated minefields.
As of June 2020, Wujing town has jurisdiction over 10 administrative villages. As of 2018, the registered residence population was 39747. In 2011, the total agricultural output value of Wujing town reached 80 million yuan, the total industrial output value reached 380 million yuan, and the total retail sales of social consumer goods reached 150 million yuan.
Historical evolution
Zhang Zai, a neo Confucianist of the Northern Song Dynasty, tried out a minefield here, and got its name because it was located at the southern end of the county and the South was the afternoon.
In the 12th year of emperor Xiaogong of Qin Dynasty (350 BC), Taixian county was established in the south of the county. Wujing has always been under the jurisdiction of Taixian county.
The Eastern Han Dynasty belongs to Wugong County.

Wugong County was restored in the Northern Zhou Dynasty.

In July 1950, it was divided into two districts, and the townships under its jurisdiction were reduced from 14 townships to 9 townships.
In February 1956, the nine townships were merged into two townships, Yaodi and Daguan, which were directly under the jurisdiction of the county. In September of the same year, Wujing commune was established, with jurisdiction over 16 production teams and 116 production teams.
In July 1983, it was changed into Wujing Township, which has jurisdiction over 16 administrative villages and 116 villager groups.
