Xiangshi town

Xiangshi town is located in the northwest of Cili County, 45 kilometers away from the county seat. The total area of the town is 101.1 square kilometers (in 2017). The terrain is mainly mountainous, with a total cultivated area of 22659 mu, including 8466 mu of paddy field and 14193 mu of dry land. Since 1958, Xiangshi town has been called Xiangshi people's commune. In 1972, Xiangshi town was changed into Xiangshi township. In 1986, Xiangshi township was changed into an established town. In 1995, Xiangshi town merged with Sanhekou township. In 1998, Xiangshi town was changed into Sanhe Township and now Xiangshi town.
