Dujia town

Dujia town is located 12 km west of Rong County, Zigong City, Sichuan Province, 115 km away from Chengdu City and 44.7 km away from Zigong City. 305 provincial road and Shaxi River pass through the territory, covering a total area of 83.41 square kilometers. It governs 11 villages, 2 communities, 194 villager groups and 2 community neighborhood committees, with a total population of 14790 (2017). Guapiao mountain is the watershed between Minjiang River and Tuojiang River, with an altitude of 745 meters, close to 305 provincial road and facing Zhenwu mountain. Guapiao mountain has eleven peaks, each of which is located in Foshan. It is said that there is a cave on the mountain, which is miles long and looks like a gourd ladle. This cave is called gourd ladle cave, because this mountain is called gourd ladle mountain. There are 20 complete Buddha statues in the cave. On the first and the fifteenth day of the lunar new year, local believers go to the cave to make pilgrimages, burn incense and paper, and pay homage to them. Behind the mountain, plumes of green smoke come out and fill the mountain like a fairyland. It's true that the spirit is interlinked, people have sincerity, Buddha has induction. there is a temple on the top of guapiao mountain, called baiyun temple, which is a Buddhist temple. According to the plaque of baiyun temple, baiyun temple was built in the sixth year of Kaiyuan in Tang Dynasty (718 AD), with a history of more than 1200 years. During the Qing Dynasty, incense was very popular. It was repaired at the end of the Qing Dynasty and the beginning of the Republic of China. There were some buildings in the temple, such as Daxiong hall, Guanyin Pavilion, Luohan hall, box room, etc., covering an area of about 13 mu. Religious activities stopped after liberation. In 1962, the County Forestry Bureau opened a forest farm in guapiao mountain. In the Republic of China, Sichuan warlords scuffled and damaged it.
