On April 21, 2015, Tianpeng town was abolished and Tianpeng street was established. The street office was located at 399 Donghu Street (No. 8 of Chuanfu civil administration and No. 50 of Chengfu letter).
Tianpeng subdistrict office is subordinate to the seat of Pengzhou municipal government in Chengdu City, Sichuan Province. It has a long history and splendid culture. It was established in the third year of Tang Wude (620 yuan A.D.) and belongs to the seat of county administration. In the Qing Dynasty, it belonged to Nanfang Xiucheng, which was called Chengxiang in 1912. In 1935, it set up Chengxiang joint insurance. In 1940, it set up the central town of Pengxian. In the early days of the people's Republic of China, it belonged to the first district of Pengxian. In 1952, it was changed to the eighth district. In 1955, it was established in It was renamed Chengguan town in 1958, merged into Hongqi commune (directly under the vegetable camp); in 1962, Hongqi commune was abolished to form a vegetable commune under the jurisdiction of Chengguan town; in 1980, it was renamed Tianpeng town (town government in North Street); in 1992, the former Qingping township was merged into Tianpeng town; in September 2004, the former Xijiao town and Li'an town were merged into Tianpeng Town, and the town government was stationed in Donghu Road (waidong street, yangcha Road). Tianpeng Street office is now listed, with jurisdiction over 40 communities and 5 villages.

brief introduction
Tianpeng street is connected with Jiuchi Town, Zhihe town and Shengping town in the East and West, and Qingliu town in Xindu District in the south, 22 km away from Chengdu ring expressway. For more than 1400 years, Tianpeng town has been the seat of state, county and city administration from Sui, Tang, song, yuan, Ming, Qing and Republic of China to today. Tianpeng town is named after the "Tianpeng gate" between niuxin and Shouyang mountains on both sides of Jianjiang weir. It was named Tianpeng town since 1981. It is the political, economic and cultural center of the city. It has jurisdiction over 11 natural administrative villages, 34 community neighborhood committees, 330 agricultural cooperatives and 82 grassroots party branches. The total number of Party members is 3635. There are 17 ethnic minorities, including Hui, Tibetan, Miao and Tujia. The town government is located at yangcha Road, Mudan Avenue, Jinpeng East Road community, Tianpeng town. Affected by the "5.12" earthquake in 2008, the temporary office area of the town government is located in phase I of Tiaolu new residence project, Chaoyang Middle Road, Tianpeng town. There are two water systems, Tuojiang River and Minjiang River, running through the town. In the north is Jianjiang River of Tuojiang River system, which originates from the northern alpine area and flows into Renmin canal of Minjiang River system from north to south. Qingbaijiang river of Minjiang River system runs through the whole territory from west to East, intersects with Jianjiang River distributary channels, forming a water conservancy network, which is extremely rich in groundwater. Tianpeng town originated from the Qianlong period, "Tianpeng" was named after the mountain. After 1949, the people's Government of Pengxian county was established in 1950, and the county was divided into five administrative regions. On January 24, 1950, it was officially built as a central town, belonging to the first district of Pengxian county. In June of the same year, it was rebuilt into the eighth District of Pengxian County, which is subordinate to Pengxian county. It was changed into the eighth District People's Government in June 1952, the Sixth District Office of Pengxian County in 1954, the people's Committee of Chengguan town in 1956, the Revolutionary Committee of Chengguan town was established on January 18, 1969, the people's Committee of Chengguan town was restored in 1978, and the town was officially renamed Tianpeng town of Pengxian County in 1981 through the national census of place names. In September 2004, the two towns of Xijiao and Li'an were merged to form the central town of Tianpeng Town, which is the commercial, political and cultural center of Pengzhou City.

Transportation facilities
Tianpeng street has convenient transportation and excellent traffic conditions. Four main traffic arteries in Southeast and northwest, namely hanpeng Road, Chengpeng Road, Anpeng Road, Pengshi road and Pengbai Road, radiate each other. The Second Ring Road, Mudan Avenue, extension and Industrial Avenue connect these highways closely. The newly opened Chengdu Pengzhou expressway is 21.3km long from the entrance of Mudan Avenue, shortening the distance to Chengdu. There are two lines in the territory, large and small, with freight and passenger transportation running through. With the construction of a series of ancillary facilities such as street lamps, greening, underground pipe network, sidewalk tile laying, the municipal functions are becoming more and more perfect. The drainage, rainwater and sewage of Tianpeng Street are discharged together by ground ditch and sewage pipe network. At present, the water supply network of water company and No.2 waterworks supplies domestic and production water. The Municipal Post and Telecommunications Bureau and the telecommunication bureau radiate all villages and neighborhood committees in the town in a short distance. The communication lines connect all villages. The network of China Unicom and China Railway also covers the whole Tianpeng Town, and the communication is very smooth.
