Anlong town

Anlong town belongs to Dujiangyan City, Chengdu City, Sichuan Province. It is located at the south end of Dujiangyan City, 20km away from Dujiangyan City and 8km away from Qingcheng Mountain. The cultivated land area is 21996 mu, including more than 9000 mu of flower and seedling planting area. It has jurisdiction over 9 administrative villages, 130 villager groups and 2 neighborhood committees. Chengqing fast tourism channel passes through the town.

In December 2019, Chengdu Municipal People's government decided to abolish Anlong town.

In July 2020, it won the honorary title of national health Township from 2017 to 2019.

Anlong town is located in the west of Chengdu Plain in Sichuan Basin, south of Dujiangyan City, a world cultural heritage site

It is 20km away from the urban area of Dujiangyan, 8km away from the world cultural heritage Qingchengshan, 20km away from the world cultural heritage Dujiangyan, and 36km away from Chengdu, the capital of Sichuan Province. The town covers an area of 27.8 square kilometers and has a population of 23594 (2017). It governs 9 administrative villages and 56 communities. There is no severe cold in summer and winter. The town has fertile land, convenient transportation, flat terrain and crisscross fields.

Historical evolution

The people of Anlong have been advocating gardening since ancient times. According to historical records, during the reign of Emperor Qianlong of the Qing Dynasty, there were "Fujia Tucheng", "Hujia garden" and "Xiangjia garden". According to the research on the existing tombs and relics of Han Dynasty in Anlong, Anlong is the birthplace of Sichuan style bonsai. Now there is a pair of Ginkgo ancient curves that were shaped by traditional methods more than 300 years ago in our town. With the deepening of reform and opening up and the rapid development of market economy, the flower and wood industry of Anlong is growing, and the horticultural technology of Anlong people is becoming more and more mature. In 1987, Li Bimao and Wang Kaicheng's potted landscape of Pinglan (Golden billiard) and tiegeng Begonia in Tongchi village entered the summer palace in Beijing, which was well received by Chinese and foreign tourists; in 1995, more than 20 potted landscapes of Pinglan (POTS) from Li Bimao and Wang Kaicheng went to Fusang, which was favored by Japanese friends; in 1997, Liu Qingliang of Jile village cultivated "three friends" of Sichuan tea, which was planted in Kunming World Expo.

The pile heads and bonsai carefully cultivated by them are simple and elegant, and the famous flowers and grasses are beautiful and dignified. According to historical records, the people of Anlong built "Fujia Tucheng", "Hujia garden", "Xiangjia garden" and other horticultural fields during the Qianlong period of the Qing Dynasty. According to the existing Han Dynasty tombs and relics in Anlong, Anlong is the birthplace of Sichuan bonsai. Anlong town

In 1995, Mr. Li Bimao's more than 20 potted orchids (POTS) of Sichuan style were used in Fusang in winter, which was favored by Japanese friends. In 1997, Liu Qingliang's "three friends" of Sichuan tea was planted in Kunming World Expo. In 2000, Wang Guoliang and Wu Taizhong's potted works were "frankly exposed to the roots" and "frankly exposed to the world" "Ancient elephant" and "Panlong out of mountain" won "Gold Award" and "Silver Award" respectively.

At present, there are 8 farmers with a real estate value of more than 1 million yuan and 60 farmers with a real estate value of more than 500000 yuan in Anlong town. There are more than 3000 mu and 35 million pots (plants) of various Sichuan style bonsai, more than 4000 mu of various high-grade greening seedlings, and 45 flower and tree distributors in Chengdu western flower market and Qingshiqiao market. Flower and wood products are exported to Guangzhou, Shanghai, Guangxi, Beijing, Yunnan, Chongqing, Guizhou, Hubei, Jiangsu, Shaanxi and other places.

There are 5 senior horticulturists, 28 intermediate horticulturists, 4 senior engineers and 12 engineers in Anlong town issued by Sichuan Provincial Personnel Department and Sichuan Vocational reform office. The total area of flowers and trees in Anlong town is more than 7000 mu, accounting for 70% of the cultivated land. There are 3518 farmers and 3125 flower and tree growers in Anlong Town, accounting for 89% of the total number of households.
