Overall planning
"Shundeju" is a group of wooden and stone buildings, covering an area of about 11500 square meters. Its buildings, gardens and water area account for about one third of the area. It has nearly 100 rooms and halls. It absorbs the layout features of Chaozhou style "baifengchaoyang" and Hakka Weilongwu, and adds foreign styles such as arcades and watchtowers. It is a rare luxury house in Chaoshan area. Due to the change of time, only a few of the buildings have been built, and the garden has been abandoned, but the overall structure is basically complete.
As the saying goes, "Chaozhou house, the imperial palace is built.". The riverside village is a place with deep forest and few people. It's not easy to gather many artists and craftsmen to build such a vast building. At that time, even the gentry in Chaozhou City marveled at the exquisite project of shundeju.
dialect
Chifeng dialect is mainly Chaoshan dialect, and there are a few Hakka villages such as DASONG.
