Qingxia town is located in hilly area, which is an important section of Longmen Mountains in Chengdu. It is only 42.6 km away from Chengdu and 9 km away from the county seat, covering an area of 28.4 square kilometers. It governs three communities and one administrative village, 44 resident groups and 18 agricultural cooperatives, with a total population of nearly 10000 people.
