Hulan town
Hulan Town, belonging to Panshi City, Jilin City, Jilin Province, is located in the east of Panshi City, bordering Huajiao township of Huadian City in the East, Heishi town in the south, Hongqiling town in the West and Yima town in the north. It is 33 kilometers away from Panshi City, with an area of 288.84 square kilometers.
In the early Qing Dynasty, Hulan town belonged to the West Weichang of Jilin Province; in November 1984, it was changed from Hulan township to Hulan town. By the end of 2018, the number of registered residence in Hulan town was 27105. As of June 2020, Hulan town has one community and 18 administrative villages, and the town people's government is located in Xinlan community.
Hulan town's grain crops are mainly corn and rice; animal husbandry is mainly raising pigs, cattle and poultry; industry is mainly mining, chemical industry, mechanical processing and building materials. In 2018, there were 11 industrial enterprises in Hulan Town, including one above scale and 103 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.
History of construction
In the early Qing Dynasty, it belonged to the West Weichang of Jilin Province and set up Hulan camp. In 1898, it was named Hulan jichangzi village; in 1902, it was changed to Hulan township.
In 1914, it belonged to three police districts. In January 1949, it belonged to four districts (Hulan District).
In 1956, it was changed into Hulan region.
In September 1958, Hulan District was transformed into Hulan commune.
In December 1983, it was changed from Hulan commune to Hulan township.
In November 1984, it was changed from Hulan township to Hulan town.

By the end of 2011, Hulan town had 1 community in Xinlan, 18 administrative villages in Hulan, Tiebei, Xingguang, Erdao, Fugui, Zhoujia, Caocao, Xinglong, Gushan, Changshui, Weitang, luanni, gudingzi, Liuchuan, Mingshui, Liushu, Tongtian and xiaohulan, 4 resident groups and 83 villager groups.
As of June 2020, Hulan town has one community and 18 administrative villages: Xinlan community, Hulan village, Xingguang village, Erdao village, Tiebei village, Fugui village, Zhoujia village, cuocao village, Gushan village, Changshui village, Xinglong Village, luanni village, gudingzi village, Liuchuan village, Weitang village, Mingshui village, xiaohulan village, Tongtian village and Liushu village. The town people's government is stationed in Xinlan community.
