Puzi Town, belonging to Pengshui Miao and Tujia Autonomous County of Chongqing, is located in the north of Pengshui Miao and Tujia Autonomous County, bordering Lutang Township in the East, longshe town and Baojia town in the south, Ditang Township, Taiyuan town and Mawu town in Shizhu Autonomous County in the west, Sanyi Township and Lianhu town in the north, 56 kilometers away from the government of Pengshui Miao and Tujia Autonomous County, with a total area of 178.55 square kilometers.
In the first year of the Republic of China (1912), it belonged to shanglongshe township; in October 2001, Puzi Township, Tongrong Township and Shashi Township merged to establish Puzi town. By the end of 2018, the population of Pu Zi town registered residence was 31239. As of June 2020, Puzi town has three communities and eight administrative villages, and the town people's government is located in puziba.
The main food crops in Puzi town are corn, sweet potato, potato, rice and beans; the main animal husbandry is raising pigs, cattle, sheep and poultry; the main industry is individual processing industry. History of construction
In the first year of the Republic of China (1912), it belongs to Shanglong Shexiang. In 1931, shanglongshe township was abolished and Puzi township was established, belonging to the ninth district regiment. In 1932, the Communist Youth League was abolished and the district office was established, belonging to the fourth district.
In March 1952, Pengshui Miao and Tujia Autonomous County was divided into nine districts, and Puzi was the ninth district.
In May 1956, the ninth district was renamed Puzi district.
In October 2001, Puzi district was removed to build a town, and Puzi, Tongrong and Shashi townships were merged to build Puzi town.
