Yushan Town, belonging to Pengshui Miao and Tujia Autonomous County of Chongqing, is located in the northeast of Pengshui Miao and Tujia Autonomous County, connecting Qianjiang District in the East, Baojia town and zouma Township in the south, Lutang Township in the West and Lianhe Township in the north. It is 39 kilometers away from the residence of Pengshui Miao and Tujia Autonomous County Government, with a total area of 138.88 square kilometers.
Yushan Town was established in the first year of Jiading (1208) of Song Dynasty, and Yushan Town was renamed Yushan Town in the first year of Mingjing (1450). By the end of 2018, the number of registered residence in Yushan Town was 43199. As of June 2020, Yushan Town has 4 communities and 11 administrative villages.
Yushan Town's food crops are mainly rice, wheat, corn and sorghum; animal husbandry is mainly raising pigs, beef cattle, goats and poultry; industry is mainly individual processing industry.
