Hekou town
Hekou Town, belonging to Feng County, Baoji City, Shaanxi Province, is located in the northeast of Feng county. It is connected with pingmu town in the East, LIUFENGGUAN town and Pingkan town in the south, Fengzhou town and honghuapu town in the west, and huangniupu town in the north. The maximum distance from east to west is 25.2 km, and the maximum distance from north to south is 26.1 km, with a total area of 404.40 square kilometers.
As of June 2020, Hekou town has nine administrative villages. As of 2018, the registered residence population was 11082. In 2011, the total agricultural output value of Hekou town reached 60.093 million yuan, the total industrial output value reached 1.71 billion yuan, and the total retail sales of social consumer goods reached 320 million yuan.
Historical evolution
It gets its name because it is located at the estuary where Anhe River, Houjia River and Donggou River meet.
In the reign of Emperor Guangxu of Qing Dynasty, it was under the jurisdiction of dongxiaodao.
In 1927, it was under the jurisdiction of Dongxiao district.
In 1935, Hekou joint protection office was set up.
In 1939, it was changed to Hekou Township Office.
In November 1949, it was under the jurisdiction of the third and fourth district offices.
In December 1953, it was under the jurisdiction of Hekou District Office.
In June 1958, Dongfeng commune was established.
In January 1959, it was changed into Hekou commune, with 12 production teams and 63 production teams under its jurisdiction.
In April 1984, Hekou commune was changed into Hekou Town, which has jurisdiction over 12 administrative villages and 64 villager groups.
In November 2007, LAOCHANG village was merged into chenjiacha village, changshugou village into Hekou village, luojiazhuang village into huangniuzui village, Tuqiao village into houjiahe village, Taiyangsheng village into anhesi village. Three villages were abolished and 16 villager groups were merged.
In July 2011, Yanwan township was merged into Hekou town.
