Shiye town

Shiye Town, subordinate to Xiushan Tujia and Miao Autonomous County of Chongqing, is located in the southeast of Xiushan Tujia and Miao Autonomous County, bordering Zhongping Township in the East, Cenxi Township in the south, Pingkai town in the West and Guanzhou Township in the north. It is 16 kilometers away from the residence of Xiushan Tujia and Miao Autonomous County Government, with a total area of 38.4 square kilometers.

In the spring and Autumn period, shiye town belonged to the southern border of Pakistan; on March 14, 2000, it was changed from shiye township to shiye town. By the end of 2018, the registered residence of Shi Ye Town was 12014. As of June 2020, shiye town has two communities and four administrative villages, and the people's Government of shiye town is located in Yuqing community.

History of construction

In the spring and Autumn period, it belonged to the southern border of Ba state.

In the Sui Dynasty, it belonged to Wuchuan County.

After 1736, shiyeli was built in shiye Town, Zhongping Township, Cenxi Township, Yajiang Town, Meijiang Town, and in Guizhou Province.

In 1914, shiyeli was changed to shiye township.

In 1958, shiye township was changed into shiye commune.

On March 14, 2000, shiye township was changed from township to town.
