Jinling Township
Jinling Township, subordinate to Shizhu Tujia Autonomous County of Chongqing, is located in the eastern edge of Shizhu Tujia Autonomous County, bordering Wendou township of Lichuan City in Hubei Province in the East, Xinle Township in the south, Shasha town in the west, Lengshui town in the north, 58 kilometers away from the government of Shizhu Tujia Autonomous County, with a total area of 60.99 square kilometers.
When Nanbin county was withdrawn in the early Ming Dynasty, Jinling township was transferred to Fengdu County; in January 1984, it was changed from Jinling commune to Jinling township. By the end of 2018, the registered residence population of Jinling township was 3664. As of June 2020, Jinling Village has four administrative villages under its jurisdiction, and the Township People's government is located at No. 7, Yinxing villager's heart street.
The main food crops in Jinling township are corn and potato; the main animal husbandry is raising pigs, cattle, meat rabbits and poultry. In 2018, Jinling township has one industrial enterprise and six comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.
History of construction
When Nanbin county was withdrawn in the early Ming Dynasty, the territory was assigned to Fengdu County.
In the Qing Dynasty, it belonged to the 12th class of anrenli in Fengdu County; in 1910, it belonged to Yishun Township in Fengdu County.
Jinling township was built in 1931. In August 1935, Jinling Township, Xijiao Township and Xinle Township were merged into Sanhe township. In July 1940, Sanhe township was withdrawn and Jinling township was restored. Longtang township was merged into Jinling township. In January 1942, Jinling township was assigned to Shizhu County.
On October 1, 1958, it was changed into Jinling Township and Jinling commune.
In January 1984, Jinling commune was changed into Jinling township.

In 2011, Jinling rural governs four administrative villages, namely ginkgo, Xiangshui, stalagmite and Huayang, and has 21 villager groups.
As of June 2020, Jinling Village has four administrative villages: Gingko village, Xiangshui village, Shishan village and Huayang village. The Township People's government is located at No. 7, Xinjie street, gingko village.
