Tieshagai Town, a town under the jurisdiction of Chahar Right Wing Middle Banner, Wulanchabu City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, is located in the north of Chahar Right Wing Middle Banner, bordering Bayin Township and Wusutu town in the East, hongpan Township in the south, Huangyang town in the west, guangyilong town and kulunsumu town in the North, with an administrative area of 294.89 square kilometers.
During the period of the Republic of China, the Mongolians belonged to ersumu of Xianghong banner, the Han nationality belonged to Taolin County, and the Northwest banliang, Dongliang and butaolingai belonged to qisumu of Xianglan banner. In March 2006, yifaquan Township and Tuchengzi Township were merged into tieshagai town. By the end of 2018, the population of the registered residence in the town was 18619. As of June 2020, tieshagai town has 12 administrative villages.
In 2011, the per capita net income of farmers in tieshagai town was 3850 yuan. In 2018, tieshagai town has 3 industrial enterprises and 15 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.
History of construction
During the period of the Republic of China, the Mongolians belonged to ersumu of Xianghong banner, the Han nationality belonged to Taolin County, and the Northwest banliang, Dongliang and butaolingai belonged to qisumu of Xianglan banner.
In 1948, the town was under the banner and county, the Han nationality was under Taolin County, xiashagai village was set up by the district government, the Mongolian nationality was under Xianghong banner, and the western villages such as butaolingai and banliang were under Xianglan Qi qisumu.
In January 1950, the two banners of Xianglan and Xianghong were merged into the United banner of Xianglan and Xianghong.
In August 1952, the division of Taolin county was adjusted. Tieshagai town was divided into five districts. The district is located in underground shagai village, and the district with blue and red United banner is still located in hongqimiao village.
In March 1954, it belonged to the Fourth District of Chahar right wing central banner and was stationed in the subway shagai.
In May 1954, xishuiquan District of five districts and three districts was withdrawn and merged, with 15 townships and 1 Gacha.
In May 1958, Bayin commune was set up, and the residence was xishuiquan.
In September 1958, it was renamed Hongqi commune and was stationed in shagai subway station.
In 1959, it was changed into tieshagai commune.
In May 1984, it was changed to tieshagai township.
In May 2001, bulianhe township was merged into tieshagai township.
In March 2006, yifaquan Township and Tuchengzi Township were merged into tieshagai town.
