Guanyang town
Guanyang Town, subordinate to Wushan County of Chongqing, is located in the north of Wushan County, adjacent to Dangyang Township and Pinghe Township in the East, Pinghe Township and Dachang Town in the South and West, and Lanying township of Wuxi County in the north. It is 110km away from the residence of Wushan County Government, with a total area of 118.47km2.
In the 24th year of the Republic of China (1935), Guanyang town was regarded as guannong township; in April 1992, Guanyang and Anyi merged to establish Guanyang town. By the end of 2018, the registered residence of Guan Yang town was 18338. As of June 2020, Guanyang town has one community, 13 administrative villages and the people's Government of Guanyang town is located at No. 8 Xing'an Street.
The main food crops in Guanyang town are potatoes, corn and wheat; the main animal husbandry is raising pigs, sheep and poultry; the main fruit industry is walnut, chestnut, edible fungi and pine nuts. History of construction
In 1935, when the new county system of Township, town and Baojia was implemented, it was named guannong township.
In February 1952, Guanyang and Qiyang townships were separated from the two districts, and the ninth district was established.
In April 1958, four communes were established in the ninth district.
In 1961, Pinghe commune was set up from Qiyang commune; Anyi commune and Hetang commune were set up from Guanyang commune.
In 1984, the rural system was restored and Guanyang commune was changed into Guanyang township.
In April 1992, Guanyang and Anyi merged to build Guanyang town.
In January 2003, Hetang township was merged into Guanyang town.
