Nongba Town, subordinate to Yunyang County of Chongqing, is located at the northernmost end of Yunyang County, at the junction of Yunyang, Kaixian and Wuxi counties. It is adjacent to Jiangkou Town in the southeast, Heyan town in Kaixian County in the west, Maping Township and Zhonglu Township in Wuxi County in the north, 101 kilometers away from the residence of Yunyang County Government, with a total area of 86.4 square kilometers.
In the Ming Dynasty, Nongba town was located in luyangli, Anyi Township, Yunyang County; in September 1992, Nongba, Xiangyang and Fanshui were merged to form Nongba town. By the end of 2018, the registered residence of Nong Ba town was 30461. As of June 2020, Nongba town has two communities and five administrative villages under its jurisdiction, and the people's Government of the town is stationed in a narrow area.

History of construction
In the Ming Dynasty, it belonged to luyangli, Anyi Township, Yunyang County.
During the reign of Guangxu and Xuantong in the Qing Dynasty, huangnong township was set up.
In 1942, it belonged to the fourth guidance area. In 1947, it belonged to the first guidance area.

In September 1956, Shanping Township, tuxi Township, LUOQUAN Township and Dongping Township were merged into Nongba Township, belonging to Jiangkou district.
