Thick Village
Houcun Township, subordinate to Lichuan County, Fuzhou City, Jiangxi Province, is located in the northeast of Lichuan County, adjacent to Zhima Town, Guangze County, Fujian Province in the East, Hufang Town, Lichuan County in the south, xunkou town in the West and Huaqiao Town, Guangze County in the north. With an area of 64 square kilometers, it has one community, four administrative villages and 52 village groups. In late 2018, there were 8226 registered residence population in Hou Village.

History of construction
During the Tongzhi period of the Qing Dynasty (1862-1874), it was listed as the 34 capitals.
In 1943, the area was divided into Houcun township.
In March 1956, Houcun township was renamed Shangji township; in March 1957, Shangji township was divided into feiyuan Township and Shangji township. In 1958, Shangji commune was established and merged into Rongting commune in the same year; in 1961, Houcun commune was established; in 1966, Houcun commune was changed into Yuejin commune, and in 1968, Yuejin commune was merged into xunkou commune; in 1971, Yuejin commune was transferred from xunkou commune and Houcun commune was established again; in 1984, Houcun commune was changed into Houcun township.

Houcun township is located in the northeast of Lichuan County, adjacent to Zhima Town, Guangze County, Fujian Province in the East, Hufang Township, Lichuan County in the south, xunkou town in the West and Huaqiao Township, Guangze County in the north.
