Longjiao Town, belonging to Yunyang County of Chongqing, is a resettlement town for the gorge project. History of construction
In Ming Dynasty, it belonged to chongshanli, Juren township.
In the early Kangxi period of Qing Dynasty, the market was set up in aokouchang; in the late Qing Dynasty, it belonged to Nixi Xiajia of Wulong township.
In 1929, Longjiao town and Taiji town were established in Wulong township.
In 1940, he returned to Nixi town.
In 1941, Longjiao township was established in Nixi town.
In January 1953, Longjiao was divided into three townships: Zhangjia, Junjia and Mufu.
In February 1956, three small townships were merged into Longjiao township.
In April 1958, Longjiao commune was established in Longjiao township.
