Gangjia town
Gangjia Town, subordinate to Dianjiang County of Chongqing, is located in the east of Dianjiang County, adjacent to Dashi Township and Shuanggui town of Zhongxian County in the East, Peixing Township and Yongping town in the south, Gaofeng town and Gao'an town in the west, Shahe Township and Gao'an town in the north. It is 20.3km away from the county seat in the West and 22.8km away from Dianjiang County Government, with a total area of 68.24km2.
In the spring and Autumn period, Gangjia town belonged to the state of Ba; in July 2007, Gangjia town was replaced by Gangjia town. By the end of 2018, the registered residence population of the town was 33891. As of June 2020, Xinmin Town has jurisdiction over 2 communities and 11 administrative villages, and the people's Government of Xinmin Town is located at 48 Longqiao Main Street, Sanxin community.
In Gangjia Town, rice and corn are the main food crops; pig and poultry are the main animal husbandry; food processing and furniture manufacturing are the main industries. History of construction
In the spring and Autumn period, it belonged to the state of Ba.

In 1072, it belonged to Dianjiang County.
In the reign of emperor Shunzhi of the Qing Dynasty, it belonged to Dongli.
In 1931, it was located in the Second District of Gangxiang.
In June 1958, Gangjia village was changed into Gangjia commune.
In March 1983, Gangjia commune was changed into Gangjia hometown.
In October 1992, Longfeng township was merged into Gangxiang township.
In July 2007, Gangjia town was replaced by Gangjia town.
