Chengxi Town, subordinate to Dianjiang County, Chongqing, is located in the southwest of Dianjiang County, adjacent to Yantai town in the East, Haitang town in Changshou District in the south, Linshui County in Sichuan Province in the west, and Taiping Town in the north. It is 15.4km away from Dianjiang County Government, with a total area of 58.76km2.

In the spring and Autumn period, Chengxi town belonged to the state of Ba; in April 1985, Chengxi town was changed from Chengxi township to Chengxi town.
