Lizi Township, belonging to Fengdu County of Chongqing, is located in the south of Fengdu County, connecting Jilong town in the East, nantianhu town in the south, Sanjian Township in the West and Longhe town in the north. In 1940, Lizi township was established; in 1983, Lizi commune was transformed into Lizi township. By the end of 2018, the registered residence population of Chestnut Township was 12765.
