Lantian Village
Lantian Township, belonging to Chengkou County of Chongqing, is located in the northeast of Chengkou County, bordering Heyu Township in the East, Xiuqi town in the south, Beiping Township in the West and Zhanghe Township in Langao County of Shaanxi Province in the north. It is 32 kilometers away from the residence of Chengkou county government, with a total area of 111.26 square kilometers.
In the Qing Dynasty, it belonged to the "seven guarantees and five first class"; in October 1984, it was changed from Lantian commune to Lantian township. By the end of 2018, the population of Lan Tian Township registered residence was 3445. As of June 2020, Lantian township has four administrative villages, and the Township People's government is located in Lanxi village.
The main food crops in Lantian township are corn and potato; the main animal husbandry is pig, goat, cattle and mountain chicken. In 2018, Lantian township has an industrial enterprise and a comprehensive store or supermarket with a business area of more than 50 square meters.
History of construction
In the Qing Dynasty, it belonged to the seven guarantees and five ranks.
In the second year of the Republic of China (1913), it belonged to Lanxi Township regiment of North District. In the 24th year of the Republic of China (1935), it belonged to Lanxi joint protection of two districts. In the 29th year of the Republic of China (1940), it belonged to Lanxi Lianbao, laolan Township, a district.
In April 1950, it broke away from Beiping Township and became Lanxi township.
In September 1958, it was changed into Lanxi commune.
In January 1981, Lanxi commune changed its name to Lantian commune.
In October 1984, Lantian commune was changed into Lantian township.
