Huolu town

Huolu Town, subordinate to Wulong District of Chongqing, is located in the northeast of Wulong district. It is connected with Canggou Township and Gaogu town of Pengshui County in the East, Jiangkou Town and Xiangkou town in the south, Xiannushan town in the West and Tudi Township and Tongzi town in the north. It is 30 kilometers away from the residence of Wulong District People's government, with a total area of 179.6 square kilometers.

After the first year of the Republic of China (1912), Huolu town was the seat of the Fifth District Office of Fuling County; in September 1992, Huolu Township, Longba Township and Wanfeng Township were merged into Huolu town. By the end of 2018, the number of registered residence in Huzhou town was 31683. As of June 2020, Huolu town has one community and 14 administrative villages under its jurisdiction, and the people's Government of Huolu town is stationed in Huolu farm.

In 2018, there were 17 industrial enterprises and 17 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters in Huolu town.

History of construction

After the first year of the Republic of China (1912), the territory was the seat of the Fifth District Office of Fuling county.

After 1949, it was the seat of the Second District Office of Wulong district.

In September 1992, Huolu Township, Longba Township and Wanfeng Township were merged into Huolu town.

In November 1998, Huolu town was divided into Longba Township and Wanfeng township.

In November 2003, Longba Township and Wanfeng Township were merged into Huolu town again.

Huolu town is located in the fold belt at the junction of zhoujiashan and dongshanqing. It is mainly mountainous, with steep hills, crisscross valleys, crisscross undercurrent and four caves. It is a typical karst landform. The average altitude is 1200 meters, and the highest point is the main peak of niujiaojian in zhoujiashan, Xujia village, with an altitude of 1680.4 meters.
