Guangpu town
Guangpu Town, belonging to Bishan District of Chongqing, is located in the south of Bishan District, adjacent to Jianlong town in the East, degan town of Jiangjin District in the south, Sanhe Town in the West and Dingjia street in the north. It is 38 kilometers away from Bishan City, with a total area of 47.15 square kilometers.
In the Ming Dynasty, Guangpu town was located in pu'anli, Bishan District, where Puxing town was built; in December 1993, Guangpu town was changed from Guangpu township to Guangpu town. By the end of 2018, the registered residence population of Guangzhou Pu town was 25124. As of June 2020, Guangpu town has one community and eight administrative villages under its jurisdiction, and the people's Government of Guangpu town is located at No. 14-1, Puxing street, Puxing community.
In 2018, there were 20 industrial enterprises in Guangpu Town, including 3 above scale enterprises and 10 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.
History of construction
In the Ming Dynasty, Guangpu town was located in pu'anli of Bishan District, where there was a Puxing town.
In the 19th year of the Republic of China (1930), Puxing town was replaced by Puxing town. In 1935, the town of Puxing was changed into the joint protection of Puxing. In the 29th year of the Republic of China (1940), Puxing Lianbao and guangxingchang merged into Guangpu township.
In December 1952, Guangxing township was established in Guangpu township.
In May 1956, Guangxing township was merged into Guangpu township.
In 1958, Guangpu township was changed into Guangpu commune.
In May 1961, Guangpu commune established Guangxing commune.
In February 1978, Guangxing commune was merged into Guangpu commune.
In March 1980, Guangxing (Yunping) commune was established.
In January 1984, Guangpu commune was changed into Guangpu township.
In December 1993, Guangpu township was changed into Guangpu town.
In December 2003, Yunping township was merged into Guangpu town.

In 1997, Guangpu town had 11 administrative villages including Hupu, Jidi, caojia, Dafu, Jinlong, Baihe, Taihe, Shengjia, Shizhu, Yangliuwan, Ma'an and a community in Puxing.
By the end of 2011, Guangpu town had one community in Puxing, eight administrative villages in pingzhong, Zhoujia, Baiyang, dashitan, Ma'an, Baihe, Hupu and Jinlong, four resident groups and 45 villager groups.
As of June 2020, Guangpu town has one community and eight administrative villages: Puxing community, Hupu village, Ma'an village, Baihe Village, Jinlong Village, dashita village, Zhoujia village, Baiyang village and pingzhong village.
