Delong town

Delong Town, belonging to Nanchuan District of Chongqing, is located in the south of Nanchuan District, adjacent to Guhua Township and Qingyuan Township in the East, Hexi Town in the south, Toudu town in the West and Dayou town in the north. It is 30km away from the residence of Nanchuan District People's government, with a total area of 75.05km2.

In the second year of Xuantong (1910) of the Qing Dynasty, Delong town was established as Delong township; in 2016, it was changed from Delong township to Delong town. By the end of 2018, the population of Derong town registered residence was 9168. As of June 2020, there are six administrative villages under the jurisdiction of Delong Town, and the town people's government is stationed in Delong town.
