Nanshao town
Nanshao Town, a town under the jurisdiction of Changping District, Beijing, is located in the east of Changping District, between 116 ° 15'05 "~ 116 ° 19'30" E and 40 ° 10'17 "~ 40 ° 15'38" n. It is adjacent to Chengnan street and Chengbei street in the west, Shahe Town and Baishan town in the south, Yanshan Mountains in the north and cuicun town in the East. In July 1949, Nanshao villages belonged to Changping County, Tongxian District, Hebei Province. In July 1953, all villages in Nanshao were divided into one district of Changping County, and four small townships, sanhezhuang, Heying, Zhanggezhuang and Nanshao, were established. In August 1956, Xiaoxiang was abolished and Nanshao township of Changping County was established. In August 1958, Nanshao township was transformed into Nanshao work station, belonging to the Ming Tombs (grand) people's commune. In 1960, Nanshao work station was changed into Nanshao management area, belonging to Chengguan people's commune. In June 1960, Nanshao management area was changed into Nanshao brigade. In July 1961, Nanshao people's commune was established. In April 1982, the commune was transformed into a township. In November 1997, the township was transformed into a town. By the end of 2018, the registered residence of Nanshao town was 21690. As of June 2020, Nanshao town has 9 communities and 16 administrative villages, and the town government is located in Nanshao village, Nanshao Town, Changping District.

History of construction
